AND MY ROLE IS… Head of Maple Solana
MY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE… I love writing. I was Editor in Chief of the Stanford Review in college.
My first real job was in venture capital 8VC, where I worked on incubating new companies and investing at the seed and Series A stages. I left 8VC to found Avari, an undercollateralized lending platform on Solana, that Maple acquired.
I also deeply appreciate marketing efforts done correctly. As a freshman in high school, I grew multiple Instagram accounts to 100K+ followers.
MY DAY TO DAY AT MAPLE LOOKS LIKE… Getting Maple shipped to Mainnet! Meeting with Solana DAOs, recruiting lenders, borrowers, and pool delegates to the platform, and educating the Solana ecosystem about Maple and undercollateralized lending
I’M MOST EXCITED ABOUT… The opportunity to bring a brand-new primitive to Solana. Maple will be the first institutional product in the Solana ecosystem. By building on Solana, we are making the amazing Maple product available to a new set of users through lower fees.

SOMETHING INTERESTING ABOUT ME IS… I’m one of 8 kids! My name is Quinn because I am the fifth child in my family — and “Quin” means five in Latin. Startups run in the family. I got into startups by working at my older sister Zoe’s Series B startup after my freshman year at Stanford.
